Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Welcome!
Just to let you know...
Starting September 15, 2010 this web site will have a new look and new teaching. Click on the "devotionals" link to read an excerpt from the new home page!
It's my prayer that as you enter it will be a time of renewal and refreshment and even some laughter as you encounter a sweet time with Jesus. I hope it will not be only a time for getting a "religious nugget or quick fix" to send you on your day, but that this time will resonate with you as you let the Holy Spirit speak in you.
Come, tarry and sit awhile, purpose in your heart to be still before the Lord…enter into the Throne Room of grace, willing to receive all He desires to pour into you. Lay down your cares for the moment, humble your heart and mind at the foot of the cross, for that will reveal Jesus to you and you can then fix your eyes upon Him. Throughout this website, I will offer you a cup of comfort and encouragement.
As it is stated in the scriptures, that our Father who is full of mercy will comfort us in all troubles, so we can also comfort others with what we've been given.(1) And because I have been given much, so much more is required of me,(2) and I will share that with you. From out of the hardships from this fallen world, I have learned to press into God and develop a greater intimacy with Jesus as He holds me tightly in His care. The testing of my faith has led me to understand the power of endurance (3) and can also agree with the psalmist when he states that God's Word and precepts are sweet like honey to his mouth.(4) I have gained a daily hunger and thirst to feed upon those words of satisfaction, as He anoints my head and they wash over me. How comforting it is to trust His authority and His character and the promises He has given to us.
When we choose Christ and allow His Holy Spirit to guide and direct our lives, there is a trade-off that happens. He gives beauty for ashes (death and pain), oil of joy (His Spirit) for mourning (sorrow and sadness), we get a garment of praise to wear as we learn to cast off the heaviness of life.(5) And don't you want eyes to see Him in our midst, and ears opened so to hear His rejoicing song that He sings over us as we walk with Him?(6)
God is exchanging my ugly, stubborn and sinful crown of pride (7) and smallness of thoughts, and is placing upon my head His crown of pure beauty, forgiveness and eternal life.(8) What a deal! Amazing unconditional love!
For each of us who calls upon His Name and who hopes in the Lord… each of us will bear fruit and will be like that green leafy tree, even in seasons of drought, found planted by the water with our roots growing down into the source of life. (9) And with that fruit in our lives, we then can offer up the fragrance of Christ to the saved and to those who are perishing. (10) Hard to imagine God not only conveys His grace to each of us, but we must allow grace to flow unhindered though us too. What a humbling privilege and honor He bestows on each of us who stay obedient to His will.
I invite you to enter and see how The Lord God's healing balm can be applied to your life's needs. Together we will look up with great expectance, for our Redeemer is coming for us again! Hold on, so to not get weary in the testifying the goodness of the Lord.

How Will I Know
How will I know if I am a woman of trust ~
until tested by life’s heaviness pressing and crushing in
and yet…
I discover You, my God, are here with strong hands extended out
waiting to take my hand in Yours.
How will I know if I am a woman of faith ~
until what I’ve held in possession is stripped and taken away
and yet…
it is just that which allows me to behold Your beauty
as the one thing I desire.
How will I know if I am a woman of hope ~
until discouragement and loneliness creeps in
and yet…
I’ve encountered that my alone time spent
and given over to You Lord, satisfies completely.
How will I know if I am a woman of forgiveness ~
until being wronged and tested with unfairness
and yet…
when asked, I’ve learn to surrender the pain over
and into Your care.
How will I know if I am a woman of joy filled praise ~
until what I loved so dearly has gone from my life
and yet…
the dependency on You has produced a song of worship
in my heart for my Savoir who never leaves me.
And finally, how do I know if I am a woman of love ~
until these hardship are allowed to transform me
into Your image Jesus, and I can see the world
and touch it with the heart like Yours.
Simple Blessings
